Update and freshness policy

A value presented as current should reflect the latest information RosterVerdict has responsibly verified and processed.

Supporting standardReviewed 2026-07-20

Why freshness matters

NFL rosters and player situations can change quickly. A useful evaluation can become misleading when the underlying team information is no longer current.

Freshness is therefore part of product quality and public trust.

What we update

  • Current roster and transaction information.
  • Player roles, availability expectations, and roster values when material evidence changes.
  • Team totals, comparisons, rankings, and verdicts affected by those changes.
  • Methodology explanations when the public meaning of a model changes.

Public trust rule

RosterVerdict aims not to present known outdated information as current. When reliable current information is unavailable, the interface should communicate that honestly.
