Privacy & Cookies
A small site with a deliberately limited data footprint.
This policy explains what personal information RosterVerdict may process, why we process it, and what choices and rights you have. The current site has no user accounts, payments, comments, newsletter signup, personalization, advertising pixels, or sale of personal data.
Effective date: July 21, 2026.
1. Who is responsible for your information
RosterVerdict is operated by Maksym Kononenko and Olha Kononenko in Norway. We act as the controllers of personal information processed for this site. Privacy questions may be sent to rosterverdict@gmail.com.
2. Information you choose to send us
If you email us, we receive the information included in your message, such as your email address, name, message content, attachments, and any other details you choose to provide. We use it to read and answer your request, investigate corrections or security reports, manage the relationship, and protect our legal interests where necessary.
Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary. In particular, do not send private medical records, passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, confidential team information, or another person’s personal data without authority.
3. Technical information needed to deliver the site
Like most websites, our hosting, network, and security providers may process standard request and diagnostic information when you visit. This can include an IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, requested URLs, referrer information, error records, and security signals.
This information is used to deliver pages, maintain availability, detect abuse, investigate errors, and protect the site. It is not used by us to build individual advertising profiles.
4. Analytics
RosterVerdict does not currently use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or any other third-party analytics service. No analytics or behavioral-tracking code is loaded when you visit the site, and no advertising pixels are used.
If we introduce analytics in the future, we will ask for your consent before any analytics service is loaded, explain what is collected, and update this policy first. Analytics would be used only to understand broad usage patterns, such as which pages are visited and whether the site is working as expected, and never to build individual advertising profiles.
5. Cookies and local storage
Cookies and similar browser storage are small pieces of information used by websites and services. The current RosterVerdict site does not set analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and it does not ask you to make a cookie choice.
Our hosting and security provider may set strictly necessary cookies or process equivalent technical signals to deliver pages, balance traffic, and protect the site against abuse. These are required for the site to function and are described in section 3.
If we introduce optional cookies or similar identifiers in the future, we will describe them here and ask for your consent first. You can remove cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings.
6. Legal bases
Where European data-protection law applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent if and when we introduce optional analytics or other non-essential cookies or identifiers.
- Legitimate interests in delivering, securing, debugging, and improving the basic site, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Steps at your request and legitimate interests when we receive and respond to emails, correction reports, partnership inquiries, or other messages.
- Legal obligations and legal claims where information must be retained, disclosed, or used to comply with law or protect rights.
7. Service providers
We use service providers to host and secure the site and to deliver email. These providers may process limited information on our behalf or under their own legal responsibilities. The principal services relevant to the current site are Cloudflare for site delivery and security, and Google for email.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not provide personal information to advertisers for cross-site behavioral advertising.
8. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to a message, maintaining correction records, protecting the site, meeting legal obligations, and resolving disputes. Contact emails may be retained while the matter remains relevant and then deleted or archived in accordance with ordinary mailbox management and legal needs.
Technical information is retained according to the settings and retention schedules of the relevant service, which we aim to configure no longer than reasonably necessary for security and troubleshooting.
9. Sharing and disclosure
Information may be shared with service providers that help operate the site; with advisers where reasonably necessary; when required by law, court order, or a competent authority; to investigate fraud, abuse, or security threats; or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. If the project or its assets are reorganized or transferred, relevant information may be transferred subject to applicable law and this policy’s protections.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or information about processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
To make a request, contact us using the address above and describe what you need. We may ask for reasonable information to verify identity and locate the relevant data. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) or another competent supervisory authority.
11. Children
RosterVerdict is a general-audience football information site and is not designed to collect personal information from children. Please do not send us a child’s personal information unless you have authority and a legitimate reason to do so.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a small public website. No internet service, email system, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please report suspected security issues through the contact page and avoid including unnecessary personal data.
13. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy before introducing materially different data practices, such as accounts, payments, newsletters, personalization, advertising technology, or additional tracking services. We may also update it when laws, providers, or product features change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
